“Today was the day of my final weigh in and measurements since I joined the 6 Week Challenge! I’m feeling so happy to have released this excess weight and body fat that was so unhealthy for me.
This was the first step to building good habits and getting rid of bad habits. I’m very happy for the additional strength I’ve gained and motivation to exercise everyday now. Thank you Shannon, for letting me join your Tribe and everyone who has been an inspiration along this journey these past 6 weeks! Here’s to continued success with hard work still ahead.”
“I struggle with certain anxieties and being around new people is one of them. I am always feeling judged by others and assume they all have nothing nice to say about me. This is a huge weakness of mine. I took the step and entered the doors of The Shack, facing my anxieties. I knew I had to do this for myself and no one else but me! My first week was a real struggle for me. When I left class I would go to my car and cry and feel like I was the worst, most unfit person in the class. (I have extreme low self esteem).
I soon realized I am not the worst and everyone works just as hard as me and at our own pace. We are all a team. We have similar struggles, we all support each other and we all have goals we want to reach. The staff and trainers are awesome and their one and main objective is to help you reach your goal. You can always reach out to them for any questions you may have as well as anyone else in your class. If you really want a change in your life this is the place. All you have to do is take the 1st step into changing your life, face your fears and insecurities, listen to what the instructors and fellow team members tell you, work your buns off, push yourself a little harder each day, it’s gonna happen, it will happen because they truly care for you and are committed to help you at all times.
I just want to thank everyone who cheered me on, high fived me, told me not to worry we all get there in time. We all need encouragement to feel good about what we choose to do. I am choosing to eat healthier, get fit, put myself out there ( fear of social interactions) talk to other team members and soon I will feel the self confidence I have always wanted. I will love myself, I will take care of myself. I promise you that. I am in this for a reason. I will FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT until I reach all my personal goals not just weight loss. In 6 weeks I have lost 18lbs, 3% body fat, and 11”. I gained more muscle, I am talking to other team members and I stopped crying in my car after class. The Shack is my happy place thank you everyone….see you in class!!!”

“So I weighed out of the challenge yesterday. It was one heck of a journey that’s for sure! I would like to thank Shannon, Kelly, Jaimie and all the instructors & staff and fellow challengers!! (I’m bad with names) who helped me along the way and pushed me when I needed it and gave me kind words of encouragement! I wouldn’t have made it otherwise! So because I use the technology I’ve added up the activities that I wouldn’t have normally done on my own and it was 99! I burnt a total of 27,283 calories! It can be done if you put in the work and no it was not easy!! Thanks everyone!! “
“Today was a great day! I succeeded in the 6 week challenge and feel excited and grateful for all the encouragement from the members and the best coach, Shannon!
I look forward to continuing my path of health and exercise! Every class I take always has room to do better and push yourself and all the instructors are so motivational and encouraging! My favorite class is Willow and that little towel at the end is like heaven lol.
Spin is not my favorite as it is exceptionally challenging for me but in all honesty I am really starting to like it. It allows me to set a goal for myself and on Friday I almost made it through the whole class without really stopping!

“Just finished my 6 week challenge today, and definitely plan on continuing my fitness journey at the Spin Shack. I wanted to share my accomplishment as inspiration for my peers who are still completing their challenges, or those who are thinking of taking their first steps. I was the first to admit, I didn’t believe in this process when I first started out, but boy am I glad I was wrong.
Thank you to Shannon for being in my corner from day one, My wedding dress now completely falls off (thank god for alterations) and my bridal shower dress (pictured) now fits beautifully. Lastly, thank you to all the strong, amazing, welcoming tribe members for making the Shack a fun and supportive place to be!!!”
